Berlin’s East Side Gallery

East Side Gallery was one of, if not my absolute favourite sight that I saw on my trip to Berlin. I have always had a great appreciation for street art so when I heard about the East Side Gallery, I knew it was a must see.

East Side Gallery is a section of the Berlin Wall, which was turned into the longest open-air gallery in the world. It spans over 1km long, with over 100 works of art and can be seen as an international memorial for freedom.

Unfortunately, there was a fence in front of most of the wall. Although it was a bit annoying, I think it kind of added to the art in a way lol.

Here are a few pictures my friend Maria and I took at the East Side Gallery. Enjoy! 🙂
