Berlin’s East Side Gallery

East Side Gallery was one of, if not my absolute favourite sight that I saw on my trip to Berlin. I have always had a great appreciation for street art so when I heard about the East Side Gallery, I knew it was a must see.

East Side Gallery is a section of the Berlin Wall, which was turned into the longest open air gallery in the world. It spans over 1km long, with over 100 works of art and can be seen as an international memorial for freedom.

Unfortunately there was a fence in front of most of the wall. Although it was a bit annoying, I think it kind of added to the art in a way lol.

Here’s a few pictures my friend Maria and I took at the East Side Gallery. Enjoy! 🙂
