I love seeing my people travel and one of the goals of this blog is to encourage and help more black people to get out there and see the world.
As it is Black History Month in the UK, I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to share some travel tips from some amazing black travel bloggers. The tips cover everything from saving to travel, finding flight and accommodation deals and slaying on your travels.
This time last week, I celebrated my birthday in Portugal on a solo trip.
A few years ago, when I first started solo travelling, I kind of gave up on the idea of getting any good pictures of myself while travelling. I’m hella shy and awkward, so I’m not really a fan of asking a stranger to take a picture for me. And the few times I did, let’s just say that you won’t be seeing the pictures.
Fortunately for me, I met bae (AKA my tripod) and since then my photography game has been upgraded.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve always wanted to donate blood. The fact that just taking a few minutes of my time, could ultimately save someone’s life, had me keen to register when I finally turned 18.
Unfortunately, my anaemic ass needs every single drop of blood I have, so donating blood is not an option for me.
Seeing as it is Black History Month in the UK, I thought it would be the perfect time to use my platforms, (this blog and Black Travel Creators) to encourage more black people to donate blood.

Summer may be over, but my hot girl summer continues!
London is currently cold and wet, but it’s still summer somewhere else in the world. Forget hot girl fall! The motto is to catch flights to hot destinations and live my best never-ending hot girl summer. Y’all with me or nah?
