In a few days, it will be a year since my trip to Gran Canaria. You’re probably wondering why I’m only now writing about something that happened a year ago, but this post has been in my draft posts since I returned from this trip. I’ve been writing this post on and off over the last few months.

Marrakech Travel Guide
My number one tip would have to be: don’t visit Marrakesh in January! Yes, Marrakesh does get cold, very cold and rainy. There was me thinking, I would have a break from a cold and rainy London, only to visit a cold and rainy Marrakesh. I knew it wouldn’t be hot, but I had hoped that it would at least be warm, but nope I had to wrap up warm with my coat, scarf and gloves – the whole shebang! ?
Porto 2017 photo album
In January, I embarked on my first solo trip; I can now tick solo travel off my birthday bucket list!! ?
I visited Porto which is known for it’s port wine and bridges. A blog post and vlog are currently in the pipelines… I look forward to sharing my first experience of solo travel with you all (the first of many solo trips)!

“A picture is worth a thousand words.”
That’s why I love having a post for each trip that is entirely dedicated to sharing my experience through pictures. However everything has its limitations especially when we had to pass up on taking a lot of great shots in an attempt to avoid getting harassed, but that’s a story for another day.
