If you follow me on Instagram then you know I’m obsessed with quotes (if you’re not following me then what are you waiting for lol 🙂 ). More than half of my pictures have some kind of quote as a caption, whether travel-related or just something positive or motivational. There’s just something about finding a quote that says exactly how you are feeling, or a quote that inspires you and others.
Berlin’s East Side Gallery
East Side Gallery was one of, if not my absolute favourite sight that I saw on my trip to Berlin. I have always had a great appreciation for street art so when I heard about the East Side Gallery, I knew it was a must see.
East Side Gallery is a section of the Berlin Wall, which was turned into the longest open-air gallery in the world. It spans over 1km long, with over 100 works of art and can be seen as an international memorial for freedom.
