Where is Ohrid, you ask? Ohrid is a small city in Macedonia.
Never head of Macedonia either? Well it’s located in South-East Europe; bordering Kosovo, Serbia, Bulgaria, Greece, and Albania.
This is beginning to sound a bit like a geography lesson lol!
If you hadn’t heard of Ohrid or Macedonia, don’t worry, you’re not the only one. Most people that I have spoken to about my trip to Ohrid, had never heard of Ohrid or Macedonia.

On 17th October, I celebrated my 24th birthday with a few good friends in Budapest. This was my first birthday spent abroad and hopefully the first of many.
I am in love with Budapest. It is a city rich with history and beauty and the architecture is amazing.

East Side Gallery was one of, if not my absolute favourite sight that I saw on my trip to Berlin. I have always had a great appreciation for street art so when I heard about the East Side Gallery, I knew it was a must see.
East Side Gallery is a section of the Berlin Wall, which was turned into the longest open-air gallery in the world. It spans over 1km long, with over 100 works of art and can be seen as an international memorial for freedom.
