AÂ few years ago, my friend told me that she was going to Paris on her own. Being the good friend that I am, I obviously had to invite myself, as everyone knows it’s not safe for a woman to travel alone after all!
Fast forward to today, and I have now solo travelled to seven countries and in two weeks, I will be off to Lisbon on my first solo trip of 2018. I am challenging the limitations that I once placed upon myself.
Thankfully, my friend Maria got to finally have her own solo trip last September, since I hijacked her first attempt. Sorry about that! ?
