Sometimes we are so focused on catching them flights and seeing the world that we don’t take the time to appreciate our own cities.
The only thing more stressful than a group chat, is a holiday group chat… 😭
I’ve been on a few girls trips, and a crucial component to any girls holiday is the holiday group chat.
The idea of the group chat is to make the planning of the holiday a lot smoother, but with all the different personalities and the usual group chat drama, it can sometimes seem to do the opposite.
Before I start, I just want to clear up a few things:
1) I am in no way saying that travelling will help everyone who suffers from depression.
2) I am not a mental health expert, I’m just sharing my own experiences, with the hope that it will help someone get the help that they need.
3) If you are experiencing suicidal thoughts, please seek help now!!!

Natas, sangria, street art and stunning architecture. These are just a few reasons why anyone would fall in love with Lisbon.
I’ve been obsessed with Lisbon since I’d seen my fellow blogger, Maya’s beautiful pictures and vlog (check out her blog).
So when I saw that Ryanair was doing deals, there was no hesitation at all and at the end of January/beginning of February, I finally got to cross Lisbon off my bucket list!
So, did Lisbon live up to my expectations? Hell to the yes!
So 2017, was definitely a year that I really challenged myself and forced myself to get out of my comfort zone.
I solo travelled for the first time in January 2017 and I have now been to seven countries on my lonesome.
Looking back now, I realise that I probably wouldn’t have tried solo travelling last year if it wasn’t for my goal to visit 25 countries before I turned 25 (check out the countries I visited and the pictures).
